Privacy policy

A plain-language summary of what we collect and why. Last updated July 2026.

The Experience Desk is a publication. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to understand which articles are read. We use Microsoft Clarity to see aggregate click and scroll patterns, which helps us find confusing pages and fix them. We do not sell this data.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required for the site to function. We do not run advertising trackers.

Email

If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply and follow up. We do not add you to any list without you asking.

Links to other sites

Articles sometimes link to other websites and tools. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
